The Tick Control Process

Yard conditions guide monthly treatment and monitoring.

1. Inspect
Tick control runs through the Tick and Mosquito Reduction Program. Visits happen monthly, April through October. In early spring and fall, a granular product gets applied around the yard’s edge to help control ticks.

2. Treat and Follow Up
Regular monthly visits include misting on non-flowering shrubs to cover both ticks and mosquitoes. Every visit includes a check for conditions that draw ticks in, along with notes and any extra treatment needed. Tick treatment covers the outdoors only.
