Rodent Control

How Rodent Control Works

The Rodent Control Process

Inspection findings direct exclusion, station placement, and cleanup.

1. Inspect
Every visit starts with a full inspection. Droppings, openings, and rub marks left by mice or rats get checked throughout the home. Openings that are found get baited and sealed.

2. Treat and Follow Up
Tamper-resistant bait stations go into the hard-to-reach spots rodents actually use. If burrowing rodents are a problem outside, a CO2 burrow tool can be added. If the plan includes droppings removal and disinfecting, that gets handled with a vacuum and disinfectant on the same visit. No prep is needed before the visit.

Johnathon was thorough, attentive and responsive. When we expressed that we had a newly discovered rodent problem, he treated with what he had and got results within 24 hours. We requested bait stations, snap traps and limited tracking powder.

Patrick showed up in a timely manner and was friendly and polite. He explained the procedures and what to expect. He was patient and wasn’t in a rush to get to his next appointment and he seemed to genuinely want to help solve my problem. I had a problem with bees and so far it seems that the treatment worked. I would use this company/Patrick again and would recommend to others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Rodent Control FAQs

What does rodent control service include?
Rodent Control includes checking the concern, reviewing property conditions, and choosing service steps based on current signs. The visit may focus on entry points, moisture, food sources, shelter, or areas where activity has been reported. BHB will explain the findings and the next step in plain terms.
Rodents can keep showing up when gaps, food sources, nesting areas, or nearby activity continue to support them. Because they can move through small openings, one new access point may restart the issue. BHB can inspect the signs, review entry points, and recommend the next service step.
Prep for rodent control depends on where droppings, noises, or damage have been noticed. Clear access to basements, garages, storage areas, kitchens, or utility spaces when possible. BHB will explain any simple steps before service so the technician can check the right areas closely.
Rodent control is scheduled after BHB reviews the reported activity and the areas that need inspection. The plan may include checking entry points, placing control materials, reviewing sanitation concerns, or planning follow up. Your technician will explain the timing and service expectations before work begins.
Contact BHB if rodents show up again between visits. New signs may mean another access point opened, food sources remain, or activity moved from a nearby area. BHB can review what changed, inspect the current signs, and recommend the next service step for your property.
